You will need to use a lighter weight oil in the winter, in order to protect the engine while starting. While some people recommend 0W oils, it could be the case that you might want to use something even lighter depending on temperature.
P.J. O'Rourke has found good success with Johnson's Baby Oil. Quote: "Rub it all over somebody cute, stay home, and forget about starting the car"

OK, I rubbed baby oil all over myself (that's a check for somebody cute) and I'm at home. What now?

I think you can figure it out. Everyone else did when they were 12 or so.

Full baby oil coverage seems a bit excessive for that particular thing though.

You got to make an evening of it, the trick isn't to see how fast you can finish.

I assume you mean that I should roll up the carpet in my living room and do time attack laps on my arse, with the baby oil providing lubrication.

I prefer the slip'n'slide method, sheets of plastic are far easier to clean up, and can be applied to couch cushion forts etc.

I have a roll of stretch foil, but I'm not sure that'd work.

I you don't have enough plastic to cover your house, the alternative is to wrap it around your oiled up body.

This is really complicated. I think I'm gonna need a qualified pit crew to deal with all the preparations.

I was going to ask why you two have all the plastic sheeting everywhere...

I'm sure there are plenty of people who would find that enjoyable ;)

Some things are better left untouched :)
